Cedar deck complete, tiled porch . . still in progress

 The back deck outside the 12' slider is only 4' deep to accomodate county code. We hope to add to it later when budget allows and/or prices decrease. Still need to pressure wash and stain. The grass is also starting to grow!

The front covered porch has been a huge project that is taking more time than I planned. Luckly the county doesn't require the porch be completed before final occupancy. I was thrilled to find a textured, durable porcelain tile that matched the rock pretty well from Floor and Decor.

I've been doing finishing touches on tile. I still have a lot of sealing to do on the river rock and marble tile in the kitchen.

Today I went to Floor and Decor to purchase the covered porch tile, and a few more packages of the marble tile so I can do the pantry. 

The builder also started the decks & installed cabinet hardware!

We are looking at potential final mid-late next week!

 

            Aleesa and Xander enjoyed helping seal the river rock tile on the woodstove base. 

Finally grouted the kids bathroom tile.

Love how the kitchen windows look with the sills installed!

We ordered fridge and freezer from Judd and Black and are on backorder until late Sept. We found everything else at the Best Buy Outlet store (scratch and dent)...including a new TV which Mike installed tonight! Xander had fun trying out some video games on it.
